My digi-scoping efforts are quite limited and essentially unsuccessful. I'll admit that we've not purchased any adapters though. Attempts with standard DSLR lenses and hand holding have been complete failures. I think there is too much lens there to zero down to the small image escaping the ocular end of ones spotter. The best and most consistent captures I've seen to date have all been with hand held dime sized smart phone lenses, and some of those have been remarkably good.

Are there some about that are adept at such with their DSLR's, I so could you put up some hints and examples please?
