Have hunted with an Remington 11-48 28 gauge bored skeet since the late 60's. Early on primarily upland bird hunting over setters. If I shot a box through it I would have usually 24 kills. Instant death on pheasants, huns and quail at close range. Even used in the duck blind over the years. As long as you know the gauge and choke limitations, it will kill as well as anything. Fast swinging, no recoil.

Only occasional ejection problem with one brand way back when, but usually shot Federal factory 1 oz loads of 6's, and never had a problem.
