Im sure it is.
I actually met and interviewed Alex Haley just as he completed the book "Roots".....the mini-series hadn't been thought of yet.
I will say this, he was a fascinating man, and not one to sit on his laurels with his hand out.
That all said, Im guessing the latest version of roots will be anti-white in its every aspect.
I will probably be watching something else...
