Any truck that can wear out a set of tires in 10k needs a thorough going over to find out why. That's not normal and something caused it.
19 y/o driver, turbo diesel and a heavy application of gravel on our road during the winter.
In ~130k I'd worn out three sets of tires, nothing changed other than the driver for the last ~10k miles.
