I found this thread after acquiring a Model 1917 with a very stiff trigger. I had sprayed the bolt with Gun Scrubber, but without any improvement in the trigger. Taking the advice in these posts, I soaked the bolt overnight in Hoppes No. 9, then shot it with Gun Scrubber again, then added some lubrication with TW25B. That treatment made a big difference in the trigger pull.
