I did detail strip, clean and oil the entire trigger assembly including the sear trip, spring, catch and sear trip lifter. I cleaned the firing pin channel in the breech plug and the striker but did not remove the extractor or sear when I cleaned and lubed. I just hosed the whole thing with Gun Scrubber and put a drop of oil on them. I'll try removing the actual sear and spring from the breech plug and making sure everything there is clean and see if the pull improves. Maybe there is some old hardened gunk under the sear or in the spring hole. Thanks for the tip.
