Thanks for the info and pics! With that info and their price, they are now a interesting to me. Wonder how hard it would be to modify the stock for a metal trigger guard...?
My 6.5 CM Hunter was delivered to my FFL today and I don't have it in hand yet, but I think it would require some creative mill work to make a Montana trigger guard fit on the Hunter stock and clear the magazine.
I certainly hope someone can make it happen though, as I would love to not have the plastic trigger guard!
