... Anyone who thinks " moving to a more gun friendly state" , in my eye's, are fools. When are you going to stop running from them? Colorado was THE place to go 20 years ago, and it isn't anymore.
I am a 5th generation Californian, and ALL of my family lives here. The law's are rediculous, but I will stand my ground and be buried, hopefully not early, in California. No animosity to those who suggest us gun owning Californians move out, but Y'all , and the Stupid laws, are not going to win.

It is not just about guns ... but that is certainly part of it. Even though the farmers, ranchers, and small city folk you live with are undoubtedly "the salt of the earth" ... Unfortunately we are governed in Sacramento by a bunch of wild-eyed, howl-at-the-moon Democrap liberals / socialists. Gov. Moonbeam (aka Jerry-The-Fairy) is termed out, but, in all likelihood he will be followed by Gavin Newsom, or somebody just as bad. No matter how cool and level-headed your farmer, rancher, and small city friends might be, at the end of the day the liberals / socialists in Sacramento will be calling the shots .... Not them. Gun control is just one component in the liberal / socialist agenda. I look forward to moving to a state with lower taxes, (don't even let me get started about that), a state that recognizes the importance of the Second Amendment, a state with affordable housing and less congestion, a state that is business friendly, and a state that recognizes personal freedom and liberty.
I wish you well, and I hope that you, and others like you, will able to "take California back." I just don't think it will happen in my lifetime ... maybe it will in yours.
