Looks good to me. A lot of it depends on where you live. An Alaskans needs might be different then say someone from Iowa.

Take me for example, I used to live in ND. Up there I liked a 300 magnum. We usually walked for miles, shots could be near or far. The weather was windy and cold most of the time. I also liked the 25-06, 30-06,308,257 Roberts, 250-3000, 6.5x55.

Now in this part of Texas a 223 or 22-250 is plenty for deer, they are the size of goats. You just sit in an elevated box blind and wait. I will admit I haven't shot any deer here. I am not paying 500 bucks for a goat sized deer to be shot out of a box.
