If we have to pick a four-gun centerfire battery, it would be:

1). A good .223 Remington

2). .243 Winchester/6mm Remington

3). 7mm-08 Remington

4). 30-06 Springfield

However, for what I hunt or probably will hunt, numbers one and three will do all I need to do.

If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.
