Limiting is a tremendously dangerous precedent that equated to invalidating the first amendment. The one 2A was included to protect.

The 2nd amendment is already limited to a large degree for public safety reasons and is under even greater assault because of the abuse of the 1st amendment, not to inform the public, but to gratify the morbid curiosity of some, feed the wallowing pity of some others, and for ratings. Better to limit the 1st amendment a bit than to see the 2nd amendment infringed in to extinction.
