I have made two trips to the RSA and a side trip to Namibia. In total, I have had 14 shoulder mounts done in Africa and shipped back from three different taxidermists.
All were well done, but none were cheap. I chose to get the work done in Africa, primarily because that's what they do, every day. IMO, the taxidermy work is a little cheaper in Africa, but it costs more to ship the completed mounts.
