hunting right now In CA zone X12 390 miles one way. If I do not score this week I will be back October 1st so two trips or around 1600 miles...old Dakota 4x4 will hit 300k by the time I get home next Friday.
I did not draw a tag but am invited to tag along with my hunting buds to Colorado elk then on to Kansas for whitetail then return to California. Years I do not get a tag I go for free as long as I take turns driving.
