I am looking for a nice used Classic spare whitetail rifle and had been focused on the 5 digits.
Just found a real nice mid-6 digit (G320,xxx) but I am not familiar with this range - is there any reason to keep looking for a 5 or even a lower serial 6 digit?
Most discussions here seem to be collectors preference for early rifles, (tighter tolerance bolts, newer tooling, better fit & finish etc.) and the resale values. This is a 'no box or papers used' Classic that has and will continue be hunted, I just don't know if there are enough differences in these for me to keep looking for a lower serial rifle?
