I believe bobmn's hunt was in 2011. I hunted there in 2011 also. This is my hunt report. (If you view the link the story is in several different posts on the first page)

This is the buffalo and leopard I took on the 2011 hunt. I would consider him a little mature.







All that being said I cannot speak to bobmn's experience. I will say this, the Omay can be a tough place to hunt buffalo. I once killed a buffalo on Thanksgiving day on Omay North, other than the self guided Congo hunt I did that was the hardest hunting I have ever done. It was also the most satisfying.

At the right time of the year you can also catch a few tiger fish.



I love the Omay and Lake Kariba. Martin has always treated me more than fair and I have been successful on all of my hunts with him.
