Haven't got enough miles on my lined holster to comment about finish wear (the gun it's for already has a lot of wear anyway). But using a smooth and stiff leather for liner makes it pretty easy to keep it clean.

And it looks good.

Way more work for the maker though, and the price likely reflects that (or should).

As for Kramer....my one example is a bit smoother inside than my unlined cowhide holsters - but not as smooth as the lined holster...not even close.

Would I go out of my way to get a lined holster for the sake of the lining? Probably not.
