Not at all typical of any of the hunts I've been on in Africa.

Seeing game - both DG & PG, depending on what we were hunting - and getting shots at good representative specimens has not been an issue. It always takes work, but not seeing game represents a problem with area hunted and therefore, the PH's and/or outfitter's judgement.

Sounds like the hunt took place in the wrong area, maybe wrong time for what you were hunting.
