We where killing moose with 30-30's back in the 40' & 50's before they got tough and you had to use magnums on them!!
My parents lived in a cabin above Pinedale, Wyoming, in the early 1950's. Shooting from the back porch, my mother killed a cow moose with a 30-30 Model 94 while my father was off working. I am glad no one told her what a risk she was taking, being a stunt shooter and all
