This Hoosier deer hunter definately likes his Ruger 77/44, mine is an earlier walnut/blued model with a decent trigger. My BIL has a blued/synthetic stocked one that has accounted for 15+ whitetails over the past several years. He shoots 240gr Winchester white box ammo in his, I handload 240gr. XTP/296. My rifle wears a Leupold Compact 4x though I am considering swapping for a 2-7X.
