Yes, the 'flood the cylinders' to fuel the DPF is a bad way to go. Newer rigs have an extra injector to directly fuel the DPF, so cylinder wash and oil dilution aren't a problem. All the EGR crud still is. IIRC, a tuner to delete may be hard to find because of the EPA. Canada is the source.
