Don't know what you are looking for, but 39M's are not rare. In my neighborhood, they are seldom seen, but that just means they are not popular here. I was gonna post that there are a half dozen or so for sale on GunPoker, but, darn, there aren't any right now! Usually there are at least a couple. But there are a half dozen 39A Mounties for sale there right now (earlier version of the 39M).
I picked up a pair of 39M's, about 8 years ago, made in early 70's if memory serves. And, yes, they are "Original Golden".
Also picked up a Golden 39A Mountie last summer, made in 1967, I believe. There are some variations in this series, but nothing I get lathered up over. They are just cool little rifles, and I like 'em!
In my neighborhood, a VERY nice 39M would probably fetch around $600. Other areas, maybe, not as much.
