I can't argue with you, BSA, about what I am willing to pay for rifles for my business. I pay wholesale prices, otherwise I lose money on the business. That being said, the actual GB sales I posted do reflect market value. Speaking of which, $1250 for any Super Grade is probably money well spent! I wish I had spotted that one going through!

I also agree that where a rifle is sold can make a huge difference in what it sells for. A rifle selling at RIA will go for more than the same rifle at Gunsamerica.com. Appraised value on guns leans toward an auction sale like RIA, even though the auction house is going to get 15%-20% of that value. Gunshow prices can't tell us much, as they are all over the map - everything from bargain basement prices to wishful thinking.

Looking at the photos of the "90%" rifle, I do think it looks pretty good. $1500 as a retail price may not be too far off.
