I have been looking for a 16 as well, local shop has a 12 ga trap gun with fancy walnut stock and a simmons rib. very tempted. Funny you mention the 17 as he has one there that would be a fun shooter/resto project. had never seen or even heard of such a beast. very tempted. if it still there after the trip to the guld end of month it be finding a new home. big 20 gauge fan. only one i enjoy shooting more is my 1924 sweet 16. just screams legit in the pheasant fields around here.

Man, I would love to get a hold of an A5 in 16 or 20 ga. they are still a little heavy for me as I age, but just listening to the sound when they cycle is amazing. I like the old Model 17's, Browning patent for the bottom ejection is neat. they were made with quite a drop at heel, like a lot of those 20's and 30's guns, but I can carry the thing all day!
