The published 84M weight For the 308 is 4lbs. 13oz. The same as the 84M Mountain Ascent 308. Barrel twist is listed at 1:10 on the Subalpine vs. 1:12 on the MA, both finished at 22" and threaded 7/16-28. Other obvious differences are the lack of a fluted bolt knob, different camo pattern, and a $300 lower MSRP.

Oddly, the 84L Subalpine in 280AI is listed as 5lbs. 5oz. compared to the Mountain Ascent at 5lbs. 10oz.

They are also offering the Mountain Ascent in solid green finish. I'm not sure if it's painted or dipped, but given the option, I'd not have chosen a hydrodipped camo stock for my MA.
