Plain bolt knob adds the weight that you lose from removing the muzzle break.
That makes sense. I still don't see where the $300 price differential is.
Less machining on the bolt/ knob is some $$$ savings, and no muzzle break that kimber retails for $89.
I keep calling them and telling them to thread the "open country" an add another sling swivel up front.
