I thought I'd make something of this, but I just decided to let it go. I haven't fired it but it has an excellent bore, 22" barrel with a straight taper from heavy (maximum diameter at the barrel nut), to 1/2" at the muzzle. It's a well balanced rifle with this taper. Slim in the grip and forearm so it feels very controllable.
Blind staggered magazine, shadowline cheekpiece, soft Decelerator pad, Millett bases and engraved style rings, really nice light trigger pull with zero creep, Savage 110 serial # D491xxx, custom wood with black tip, wraparound checkering on the forearm, grip, and grip cap. This is some very good quality work on the checkering. Only downside is one repaired crack on bottom by the action screw, hard to see but there. A blemish here and there on the wood and a little flaking of black off the trigger guard. Were these aluminum trigger guards? Looks like it. Sell for $625 shipped or trade for something interesting.
