By the posts on this thread, it's obvious everyone defines a "lightweight" differently. For me, a lightweight is sub 7lbs "all up" (scoped, sling, rounds... that's how it's hunted).



For me, lightweight depends upon the round said rifle is chambered. My three favorites all empty and slingless:
