I don't think it"s a matter of being good...just being there at the right time. The good stuff doesn't last long.
I meant in terms of the actual value to price tag disparity. And no, they don't last long. Pawn shops that mess up prices like that tend to have regulars who come in several times a week looking for deals like you got. Never pass a run down pawn shop. Any of the nice ones usually seem to know what they got, at least around here.
