No $hit Greg, that's their rules. Even the founder of the SCA likes a rare/med rare ribeye, but they had to set it up to please a wide selection of judges. I told him that if you don't like rare/med rare you shouldn't be qualified to be a judge. He told me to play by the rules or don't cook the comps. So I'll just continue to destroy those beautiful steaks they give me.
And........they consider medium 140*......burnt to $hit in my book!
