I just couldn't bring myself to chop up my Svede. I found a scout style scope mount for it. Mated with a nice Leupold scope, you can't go worng. "Google" S&K scope mounts. They are far stronger than other mounts on the market. A guy just has to replace the rear sight to install the mount.
