Mine is an SAO, as at heart, I'm a 1911 guy.

The SAO & the DA/SA 229's are the same gun except for the trigger & a safety on the SAO.

The SAO trigger is very, very close to a 1911 feel; the DA/SA is also very, very good with a dedicated trigger to the Legion series & for anyone who is not comfortable carrying cocked & locked, it's the next best choice..................DA pull is excellent & the SA pull is only a tad not as good as the SAO.

I have a Beretta 92 Compact with a highly re-worked over trigger with an outstanding DA pull, & the DA/SA Sig Legion is every bit as good or better right out of the box.
