Seating depth can be critical. Some rifles will handle them with accuracy at any reasonable depth while another may require a very specific depth. Try different depths plus powders. Generally faster powders like Win 760/ H-414 work well. Some years back I took a decent elk with my 7x57 using the Barnes 140 TSX. Complete pass thru at about 150 yds. Last few years have been using the 6.5 120gr TSX with complete success. They work well beyond their weight . Require a complete new understanding as compared to lead core bullets.
