I wonder if it has to due with CAFE standards? Unless the regulations have changed, the emphasis is on cars and light duty trucks (1/2-ton) and not 3/4-ton, etc. No sense in adding cost and complexity of turbos to a Super Duty unless there is pressure or demand from the customer or regulatory agency.
