I guess I'm also a bit of a cultist.
My 9.3X62 is built on a Brazilian 1908 Mauser(Oberndorf). The barrel is 21". The stock is Black walnut that I carved. I also did the rust bluing. It has a Dayton-Traister trigger and a 2-position M70-style safety. The barrel band is from Talley. It weighs in at 8 1/4 lbs scoped and empty.
It is capable of consistent sub-moa groups with Nosler Partition, Hornady and Speer bullets at 100 meters. Velocities with the 286 NP's and 59 gr of RL run arround 2350 fps.
I recently had the barrel pruned back from 24.75" to 21" and only lost 15-20 fps per inch.
