There is one Winchester 101 worth seeking out even in 12ga. That would be European light weight gun. It has good handling and comes with appropriate for weight 70mm chambers and Winchoke/Std Invector system.
The thin recoil pad, 70mm chambers and European proof marks give them away. Some can be found in USA w/o proof marks because Americans do not require gun proof. Naturally some of these could have been brought back from Japan by returning American soldiers.
