The MR-7 didn't make it and that was when Winchester was still mass producing the model 70. They are bringing back the model 70 in 2008 but it will be pricey as rumors I've heard were satrting at $1,000.

So maybe this is a bit better market timing. But is sure seems to me that there are plenty of people making entry level plastic bolt actions. This I assume will go head to head with Stevens and Savage. Which is why my earlier post suggested there may be a partnership arrangement between Savage and Marlin.
