My bucket list gun ain’t unobtainable. It’s merely a S&W Airweight Mod 38
The Mod 38 is the one with the shrouded hammer. No special reason, I just like them. The modern incarnation is the Mod 638 Airweight.
My Ex took the 638 Airweight I had, I’ve been carrying a 642 which is arguably better for pocket carry than the 638, especially when you learn to stage the trigger for careful aimed shooting.
No matter, the 638 itch ain’t gone away, it’s a want rather than a need. I expect to succumb eventually.
