well i have a 270-300 win mag i had built in 2004.with the loads i use with 130 and 140 grain bullets it is a bughole shooter,my favorite caliber of many i own.so i have a itch and might want to have a 27 nosler built, most will assume i am building this for much heavier bullets which would be totally logical and rational.i still would like to shoot from 130's up to max 160 grainers, again just a preference and not what many would think beneficial with the 170 grainers becoming available.will mostly be shooting barnes, hammer and some noslers like accubonds and partitions, just want to eliminate possible bullet failure.also would need to have the rifle with a proper load capable of shooting sub 1/2" moa, anyway any input with twist rate as i stated earlier 130 to 160.thinking maybe 9 or 8 and 1/2.all opinions welcome.do i need this caliber no,but need and want are different.thanks in advance to all of you rifle loonies.
