I'm looking at either the 550 or 750 presses to purchase. I have a question about cartridge conversions. If a guy wanted to reload .223, .300 BLK, 6X45, and 6X47 Rem on a Dillon progressive how would you do it? There is no cartridge conversion for the 6mm cartridges closest is the 6 TCU for the 550, and it uses a 6 PPC powder funnel.
So with this information if I buy a 550c press either get the .223 or .300 BLK conversion kit and just buy the appropriate powder funnel for the other cartridges. If I buy the XL750 then I buy both the .223 and .300 BLK conversion kits if I want to add the case feeder in the future. I just don't see a reason to have multiple shell plates for the same case head.
