Couples sitting at a table never speaking a word to each other-both 100% involved with their phones.

Face-to-face verbal conversation is a thing of the past.

Our son received his first[flip]phone somewhere around 2003-4 at 13-14 years old. Within 2 days we had to deem the rule 'no phones at the table during meals'

It's only going to get worse.
