Why separate the colors by stock vs metal? You could do a two-tone on both with a simple camo pattern.
Spray the whole thing green, and then lay your local foliage over it and hit it with the tan. then it'll be mostly tan with green foliage to break it up.
I've used pine springs and small leaves, works well.
One assumes this will be a family project and camo is much more fun.
