In almost every instance where I found a 120-grain Ballistic Tip jacket, I found the core, or a significant portion of it,
with the jacket. I had always interpeted this to mean that the whole unit made it through the penetration process.
Anyway, for a varmint bullet, it's a hell of an elk and moose killer <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />.
