I bought a BSS at a sporting clays tournment a few years back, 12 ga with 28 inch tubes, took it to the 5 stand, ran it, and it followed me home. The parts for them are almose zero but they are very simple and durable gun and I doubt under normal wear a guy could cause it any harm.

Mine had the stock cut down and spacers put back in to get the LOP back to normal. I have had this gun sitting in the back of my safe as a restock project some time now, and need to get after it.

I think for any upland bird the BSS is the bees knees, mine is no light weight but feel good and points great, I think a 20 would be a grouse killin machine.
