Yes, I read about the .270 Titus Savage, as developed and chambered by Bliss Titus, in Gunsmithing by Roy Dunlap. A quote from Dunlap: "This is perhaps the only wildcat cartridge brought out by the demand of regular hunters, instead of experimentalists in the handloading game.". Apparently, the cartridge was "exceptionally accurate" with ballistics close to the 270 Win. Seems like a mystery why Savage didn't adopt the round?
