If you like you say you will be shooting factory ammo I think the .270 is the way to go tho personally I think the 7mm is a better round and am suprised it did not take off like the .270wsm did/or as well. Hit a couple of websites and while they have both in stock there is almost a 2:1 advantage in number of brands/loads in the .270wsm over the 7mmwsm.
I think in the future that gap will widen. The 7mmwsm is down to a handful of factory rifles like Browning/Savage/cooper I believe/Howa while the .270wsm seems to be in nearly every line up that includes a .300wsm.
