Wadevb1

I had a load of 56 grains of RL22, WW Brass and CCi200 primer that gave good groups and velocity with the Sierra 120 grain hollow point boat tail bullet. I can't find what the oal was but they were in close almost touching. My muzzle vel was 3128 FPS

Also when I developed this load none of the manuals had loads listed for RL22 and the 25-06 so I called Sierra and Speer and they recommended using H4831 starting data and work up.

This load is a couple grains above what most manuals list today. Most max out at 53 - 54 grains.

My experience with the bullet is different than most here. I shot a 6 point whitetail in the rib cage on a broadside shot busted a rib going in and did not mark the inside rib cage on the other side.

I like better penetration than this and went back to the 120 grain speer hotcore which I have always had good luck with.

A gun in the hand is worth more than the entire police force on the phone.
