Well, I agree with all that and I do have a working model of the case holding .423" bullets. There is no doubt tha 416 bore is more popular and lacks nothing ballistically but everybody has one. I do like the 423" and have a few of them, wild and common. The 404 Dakota is a good one. The is a 423 Caprivi in an M98 working now, made on the modified 375 Ruger case. I think the 400 on the case with more taper and less shoulder angle and loaded to more moderate levels will make for a useful general purpose cartridge. The 411" bullets are available and the 350 and 400 grain Swift A frames are made to take the full 2400 fps velocity.
