Though on the hunts, carrying it where you need to go and depending on the terrain, may not always be a picnic.
A 7mm 180 gr Berger fired at 3000 fps MV, will retain more downrange velocity and energy at extended ranges than will a 180 gr Barnes TSX fired from a 30-378 with MVs of 3400-3500 fps.
That is an ideal and excellent long range rig you have there.
