Your story is proof that one mis-step can turn an enjoyable adventure into an exercise in endurance. Glad you had a sat phone to communicate. Otherwise you would have been on your own. I bet all three of you would have made it even without the sat phone but it was good to have it to get help from the Coast Guard.
