Believe me, I ain't putting it forth that being an expert on guitars means chit in this world... that and three bucks, will barely buy a latte at Starbucks.... grin... But, as it turns out, it is something I was deeply immersed in for a looong time. Factor in running a commercial recording studio and I ate, breathed, and pooped guitars and amps and mics and brands of reel-to-real tape and this noise reduction sounding different than that one and hi-end mic preamps and tubes vs. transistors and on and on and on.... bleah.... there's a joke about a gynecologist getting sick of puzzy in there, somewhere, except it's not funny to me because I've kind of lost my passion for guitar in the process...
It's just humorous to catch Stick making the kind of broad, over-reaching generalization that he loves to beat on others for. In the spirit of welcoming him back around the Campfire, a gentle correction was in order. Lol.
